# Tenet Investing > Your complete stock research toolkit, with an AI Buddy beside you. Screener, ETF tools, playbooks and AI connectors for ChatGPT and Claude. Free to start. > Tenet is a research tool, not investment advice: it doesn't tell you what to buy or sell, and the decision stays yours. ## Why Tenet Tenet Investing is for investors who want the numbers behind a stock, not a rating. Every Tenet Score carries the date it was computed, its formula is published on the methodology page, and the score and its math are free on every US stock, with no sign-in. Playbooks run published rules nightly and show which rules each stock meets or misses. Financial statements go back 5 years on Free, 10 on Premium and 20 on Ultimate, with ratios to 20 years and price charts to 10 years and Max. AI Buddy is included on the free plan. Premium is $12 a month or $119 a year, $9.92 a month on the annual plan, and includes the screener with factor grades and 100 rows a window, every playbook name, 3-stock compare and the ETF shared-holdings breakdown, 1 connected brokerage, live prices, 50 AI Buddy ideas a day and 150 AI Research questions a month. A read-only connector brings the same dated figures into ChatGPT and Claude. Tenet takes no money from the companies it covers and gives no buy, sell or hold signal. ## What Tenet does ### Stock reports: one per US stock, at /stock/{SYMBOL}/{tab} - [Overview](https://tenetinvesting.com/stock/AAPL/overview): the Tenet Score with its Value, Quality, Health and Growth readings against sector peers, a quote and the price chart. - Price chart: intraday 1D and 5D, 1M, 3M, 6M, YTD, 1Y, 5Y, 10Y and Max, each range with its return. - [Financials](https://tenetinvesting.com/stock/AAPL/financials): the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement. The Tenet Score and its math are never paywalled, on any stock. Free includes AI Buddy after sign-in (5 ideas a day), 15 AI Research questions a month and the first 5 names on every playbook. Premium is $12 a month or $119 a year; Ultimate is $25 a month or $249 a year. **Is Tenet investment advice?** No. Tenet is a research tool. It shows the numbers behind each stock and fund, how every score is calculated, and both sides of an idea. It doesn't tell you what to buy or sell, and the decision stays yours. **Who is Tenet for?** Investors who want the numbers behind a stock, not a rating. Its founder built it on the view that retail investors deserve the same quality of research as professionals, at a price that is fair to them. **What does the Tenet Score measure?** It rates a company's filings against its own sector from 0 to 100 (higher is better), reported with one of four verdict words: Strong, Solid, Mixed or Weak. Under it sits every metric, with its value, its sector percentile and the date it was computed. The formulas are published on the methodology page. **What is AI Buddy?** An AI guide on every page of Tenet, free after sign-in. Tell the guide an idea in your own words. It finds the page and the number that test it, and leaves the decision to you. AI Research, inside it, takes deeper questions about the numbers. Educational, not advice. The guide can be wrong; the page it opens shows the numbers. **Does Tenet work with ChatGPT and Claude?** Yes. The Tenet connector is an MCP server that lets ChatGPT or Claude read Tenet's research data, read-only, with every answer dated and sourced. It is included with Ultimate. **Can Tenet see my brokerage?** Only if you connect one, and then read-only: a connection cannot trade or move money. Brokerage connections come with Premium and Ultimate, and a holdings file can be uploaded instead on every plan. An AI connector sees your positions only through its portfolio:read scope, which is granted only when you tick it: the positions in the brokerage accounts you have linked and switched on at Tenet, priced at the last close. Nothing can be changed, traded or moved. **Where does the data come from?** From licensed market-data vendors, credited by name at the foot of every page. Tenet computes the analytics and the score from that data, recomputes them nightly, and puts a date on every figure it shows. **How is Tenet paid for?** By subscriptions to Premium and Ultimate, and by advertising once it launches. It takes $0 from the companies it covers. **Who builds Tenet?** Tenet Investing Inc., built in Toronto. Its founder, Sid Verma, is a data scientist, and the Knowledge Base is written by Arushi Midha. ## Knowledge Base [Knowledge Base](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base) and [Academy](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/academy) (guided paths through it): investor education written by Arushi Midha. - [Investing Fundamentals](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/investing-fundamentals): the market, value investing, compounding, cycles - [Financial Statements](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/financial-statements): the three statements, 10-Ks and SEC filings - [Business Analysis](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/business-analysis): moats, pricing power, management, capital allocation - [Financial Ratios & Metrics](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/financial-ratios): every ratio with formula, benchmarks and traps - [Valuation](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/valuation): intrinsic value, margin of safety, DCF, relative valuation - [Portfolio Management](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/portfolio-management): building, sizing, buying, selling and rebalancing - [Investing Psychology](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/investing-psychology): fear and greed, biases, staying rational in crashes - [Financial Statement Walkthroughs](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/statement-walkthroughs): real annual reports read line by line - [Company Analysis](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/company-analysis): the Tenet lens on real businesses, data as-of dated - [Industry Analysis](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/industry-analysis): how to analyze banks, software, insurance, REITs and more - [Historical Investment Case Studies](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/investing-history): the great compounders and failures, from Coca-Cola to Kodak - [Investment Decision Walkthroughs](https://tenetinvesting.com/resources/knowledge-base/decision-walkthroughs): valuation questions as frameworks, never recommendations ## Facts for citing - Name: Tenet Investing (short form Tenet), https://tenetinvesting.com.
