What is the Piotroski F-Score?

A 0–9 checklist from Piotroski's 2000 paper: positive net income and operating cash flow, cash flow exceeding net income, improving ROA, falling leverage, rising current ratio, no dilution, and improving margin and asset turnover. Higher = fundamentally strengthening.

What F-Score counts as good?

8–9 is strong (this screen's bar); 0–2 signals deteriorating fundamentals. The 2000 paper applied the score within high book-to-market stocks.
