Sid Verma
Founder of Tenet Investing · Data scientist, Toronto
I have spent more than ten years in data science, building production machine learning at a US bank, a health insurer and a large retailer: fraud detection, anomaly detection and experiment measurement. I am currently a lead data scientist at a US-based product and consulting startup, and hold a master’s in business analytics from the University of Minnesota.
I built Tenet because I have a keen interest in research-driven investing, the math and the signals behind it, and believe retail investors deserve the same quality of research as professionals, at a price that is fair to them.
I am not a licensed financial adviser and Tenet gives no personal advice.
What Sid writes on Tenet
Sid writes the methodology behind every Tenet figure, the code that recomputes those figures each night, and the pages that compare Tenet with other research tools. He does not pick which companies score well: every company is scored by the same published rules, with no per-name human discretion.
